Q. What are the standard sizes of postcards?
A. Most printers sell postcards in two sizes.
4.25 x 5.5, and 5.5 x 8.5
.

What are the most common card stocks used in postcards?
The three most popular card stocks offered by printers are:
1. #67 lb. bristol and #80 lb. cover are probably the most popular. They are reasonably priced and easily comply with postal regulations.
2. #100 lb. c1s (coated one side) is ideally suited for postcard mailing when a colored picture is used (for example, to feature a piece of artwork). The uncoated side then can be used for a personalized message, since it will accept ink from a pen or pencil more readily.
3. #12 Point c2s (coated two sides) is a luxurious premium sheet with brilliant finish.
